Animal Messengers of 2012
The Animal Messenger for the month of April is Butterfly.
Butterfly's message is one of change and transformation! Look around, you or your life is transforming beautifully in its own time. Butterfly reminds us that we can be at different cycles of change and transformation for us physically, emotionally, and spiritually as well. This is a time to find what feeds you, and devour it! On other issues in your life you may need to hide or cocoon yourself away from pressures or negative people and/or places. It is time to create a serene, peaceful haven in which to retreat from the world, you deserve it!
Finally, butterfly says it is useless to rush the transformation process, as transformation is occurring at a rate that is already for your highest and greatest good. This is a time to reflect on the past and send unresolved issues you may have to your "Creator" for transformation through letting go and truly healing. You will emerge from your cocoon refreshed, relaxed and completely transformed.
The animal messenger for the month of March is Hawk.
Because Hawk can obtain remarkable heights and effortless soaring above the Earth, hawk is associated with messages from spirit realm, quite often, family member who has made the spirit walk, but it can also be sent from your spirit guides. Pay close attention to your environment as you are about to receive an important message.
Because of Hawks' extraordinary vision, Hawk is urging you to look closely at the situation and only act when the best opportunities for abundance is presented, and once it has, acting quickly and decisively.
Another of Hawk's message is one of reevaluation of your goals; are you trying to push too hard, control the outcome? Hawk beckons you to ride the current (go with the flow), instead of falling for the illusion of control. Be free, pay attention, and go with the flow.
The Animal Messenger for the month of February is Spider
Spider weaves her web in order to sustain her, catch her food and raise her young, essentially to live her life upon. She is reminding us gently that what we do now will be what sustains us in our future, a future of our own making.
In Native American teachings, spider is given credit for creating the first dream catcher; she is also credited with creating the alphabet we all use every day.
Writers will find that spider has come in their life to help them create using the alphabet, but everyone may feel the “pull” this month to write, an email, journal entry, or you may start writing a book, if that is what you wish to create for yourself.
Spider’s web she creates contains a spiral, the most common symbol for creation. Even though she has worked very hard creating her web, if something is wrong with it, she tears it down and creates another. We often times stay in a situation because of fear, spider wants you to take back your power, the power to create the life you want, the life you deserve!
The Animal Messenger for the month of January is Monkey
Monkey is able to move around on the ground as well as above in the tree tops, this translates to having heaven on earth and/or being present in the physical world at the same time being open to guidance and/or connection with the spiritual realm, utilizing both within our daily lives.
Monkey is highly intelligent, able to construct tools from its surroundings for the use to acquire food or to build shelter that he needs.
His message is one of using what you have, your "tools" to acquire what you need in life. To obtain what he needs, monkey knows when to work hard, when to appear to work hard, and when to outwit his rivals for the things he needs.
Monkey is a very social animal, reminding us that we too need social interactions within our life with our family and peer group for a healthy well-rounded life. Monkey reminds us to be more aware of ourselves and how we treat others in our life. "Treat others as you would like to be treated."
Monkey is alerted to danger, and in turn signals and warns others to the presence of danger.
Be sure to listen to your inner warning system, as this will only help guide you safely out of harm's way.
